Job Description Job Description BridgeWorks is hiring Forklift Operators for a company in Ft. Inn $19.00-$20.25 depending on shift
1st M-F: 7am-3:15pm
2nd: M-F: 3pm-11:15pm
3rd: M-F: 11pm-7:15am
5th: S-M: 7pm-7:15am Sat, Sun & Mon
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification or license as required by OSHA standards.
Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
Ability to read and interpret order sheets and use RF scanning equipment.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating multiple types of forklifts including stand-up forklifts and clamp trucks.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
Previous experience in order picking and shipping/receiving operations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and clamp trucks to move materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and storage racks according to company procedures.
Perform order picking using RF scanners to ensure accurate selection and tracking of inventory.
Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.
