Job DescriptionWe are hiring dedicated Forklift Operators for both 1st and 2nd Shifts to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and a solid background in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift/lift equipment to move, store, pick, stage, and load materials
Perform receiving, sorting, replenishment, picking, staging, and loading activities
Prepare customer orders for domestic and international shipment
Load and unload materials while following proper safety procedures
Complete inventory transactions using SAP and/or scan guns
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are placed in the appropriate locations
Follow all company safety and operational procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Participate in safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement/Lean activities
Assist with general warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience required
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and working in confined areas
Ability to safely handle and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, climb stairs, and work from elevated platforms as required
SAP and/or RF scanner experience is a plus
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
Schedules Available:
Day Shift: 5:00 AM-5:00PM | Pitman Schedule
Night Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 AM | Pitman Schedule
2nd shift new hires will train on day shift for approximately 2 weeks from 6:00 AM-2:30 PM before transitioning to nights.)
Pay: $18-$19.36/hr. Paid weekly!
Best fit: Candidates with hands-on forklift experience who are comfortable in a manufacturing/distribution environment and have experience with material movement, shipping/receiving, SAP, or RF scanners.
