Job Description
KODIAK is seeking an experienced Forklift / SkyTrak / Telehandler Operator to support commercial construction projects in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment in an active construction environment. KODIAK supports skilled craft professionals on commercial and industrial projects with a strong focus on safety and reliable jobsite performance.
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and material-handling equipment.
Load, unload, transport, and stage construction materials throughout the jobsite.
Move materials to designated locations based on direction from the foreman or superintendent.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
Follow all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety requirements.
Maintain proper awareness of pedestrians, other equipment, overhead hazards, and changing jobsite conditions.
Assist with general material-handling duties when equipment operation is not required.
Keep work areas organized and maintain safe access around material storage areas.
Communicate effectively with the site team and follow instructions.
Operate equipment efficiently while protecting materials, structures, and personnel.
Requirements
Previous forklift operating experience required .
Previous SkyTrak and/or telehandler experience required .
Commercial construction experience preferred.
Ability to safely maneuver equipment in active construction environments.
Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
OSHA 10 and equipment certifications are preferred.
