Location/Division Specific Information: Within the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC location specializes in gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). Our expertise lies in the development and production of various softgel technologies.Hours:Days: 7am-7pm - rotating 2-2-3 scheduleNights: 7pm-7am - rotating 2-2-3 schedule; w/ 10% added night shift differentialHow Will You Make an Impact: Formulation Tech II, Machine Operator: Responsible for operating an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients, ensuring accurate temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in-process measurements, and quality product.Manufacture simple, bulk productsObserve machine operation, adjust as needed, take samples of product, and perform in-process testingAssist Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket, clean and prepare machine for changeover, and assist with the actual changeoverAssist with cleanup and other encapsulation duties as neededOperate inline printing equipmentFormulation Tech II, Gelatin AssociateFormulation Tech II, Gelatin Associate: Responsible for manufacturing a quality gel material for use in our encapsulation process.Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP's, and MSDS memos.Weighs raw materials, loads gelatin silos, mix GMRs, Transfer Tio2, and monitor temperatures of GMRs.Mix gel for use on production line.Train in AGMS (Automated Gelatin Manufacturing System).Performs all cleaning duties in area.Formulation Tech II, Post Production AssociateFormulation Tech II, Post Production Associate: Responsible for inspecting product, cleaning trays/deeps and operation the tray inspection machine to ensure quality of product.Inspect capsules on inspection trays, removes defects such as odd shapes, transfer marks, and leakers.Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP's, and MSDS memos.Clean used trays/deeps, sweep capsules from floor, removed lodged capsules in equipment.Operates deepless rooms with vision system, sample and test product, and operate box maker machine and transfer information to SAP.Formulation Tech II, Medicina AssociateFormulation Tech II, Medicina Associate: Responsible for manufacturing a quality fill material for use in our encapsulation process.Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP's, and MSDS memos.Retrieve, weigh, identify, mix, and store raw materials.Cleans equipment and performs all other cleaning duties in area.Manufactures Neat fills/blends and complex batches.Produces quality fill material including simple potent compounds for use in our encapsulation department utilizing multiple types of equipment and processes.May operate forklift.A Day in the Life:Manufacture simple, bulk productsObserve machine operation, adjust as needed, take samples of product, and perform in-process testingAssist Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket, clean and prepare machine for changeover, and assist with the actual changeoverAssist with cleanup and other encapsulation duties as neededOperate inline printing equipmentQualifications:*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.*Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to include drug screening.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentPreferred: SAP experience (for Gelatin Associate)Preferred: Pallet Jack & forklift experience (for Gelatin and Medicine Associates)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent verbal and written skillsAbility to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshootAbility to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operationMeet DEA security clearance requirements if requestedMust have the flexibility to work overtime as neededPhysical Requirements / Work Environment (may include, but not limited to):Must have the ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or transport items weighing up to 50 poundsAdherence to all GMP Safety StandardsCleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowedLoud noises (equipment/machinery)Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)Standing for full shiftWorking at heightsRepetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reachingClose and color vision is required (not needed for Machine Operator)What We Offer:Compensation:Competitive Hourly Pay RateAdditional shift differential for night shift positionAnnual performance-based bonusAnnual merit performance-based increaseExcellent Benefits:Review our company's Total RewardsMedical, Dental, & Vision benefits-effective Day 1Paid Time Off & Designated Paid HolidaysRetirement Savings PlanTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral BonusCareer Advancement Opportunities
