We're hiring our first forward-deployed engineer — someone who can stand up our AI agents for real customers and be the person those customers talk to. If you like writing code and you like talking to people, you won't have to choose.
What Graphed doesGraphed builds AI agents that run marketing for businesses — managing their ad accounts, generating creative, writing content, and handling SEO — backed by a data warehouse that gives every customer a live view of what's working. We deploy these agents into our customers' stack and focus on showing real results quickly.
We're two founders with real revenue and more demand than we can currently onboard. Delivery is our bottleneck, which is why this role exists. You'd be the first person on the team that turns a signed customer into a live, working deployment.
Who you'll work withYou'd work closely with both founders, day to day.
Cody Schneider has spent about 10 years in B2B growth, the last 6 in early-stage software. He runs most of our marketing and distribution today, so you'd learn that side of the business directly from him.
Max Chehab was the first employee at WorkOS and the second at Hightouch, with a background across infrastructure, data, and product. He's who you'd learn the technical side from.
The two met as early employees at Rupa Health and have spent the last four years building AI marketing products together — a webinar repurposing tool, an early SEO bot, and an ecommerce agent that generated around 20,000 landing pages from keyword data and tuned them using clickstream data. Graphed grew out of that work.
What you'll learnThis is hands-on. You'll deploy real marketing systems for real companies every week, sitting between the growth side of the business and the technical platform that powers it.
You'll come out understanding how growth and AI products actually get built — both the engineering side and the distribution that puts them in front of customers. That's the same combination it takes to start a company, and if you use it to go build your own thing down the line, we'd be glad to have been part of that.
What you'll actually doDeploy and tune agents in our platform for each new customer — configuring them, connecting them to the customer's ad accounts and data sources, and getting them running the way that customer needs.
Ship customer dashboards using our deployment tooling, so every client can see their results.
Run onboarding and implementation calls — you're the technical point of contact during setup. You'll explain what the agents do, gather what you need, and turn a kickoff call into a working deployment.
Be the feedback loop between customers and the founders — you'll see what breaks, what customers actually want, and what we should build next.
You won't be building the core platform itself — that's the founders' job. You'll be the one who makes it work in the real world, customer by customer.
What we're looking forThis is an early-career role, so we care more about how sharp and resourceful you are than about years on a résumé.
You can work in a codebase. You've shipped things — at a job, an internship, or your own projects — and you're comfortable reading and writing code, working with APIs, and figuring out an unfamiliar system on your own.
You're good with people. You can get on a call with a customer, explain something technical in plain language, and leave them feeling looked after.
You move fast and own outcomes. When something breaks before a customer goes live, you want to be the one who fixes it.
You like to learn. Our stack and our customers' needs change often, and you're comfortable with that.
Nice to have (genuinely optional)Experience with ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads) or marketing in general
Hands-on time with LLMs, prompting, or AI agents
Experience working directly with customers or clients
Familiarity with SQL or data tooling

Compensation & logisticsSalary: $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience and location
Equity: meaningful early-stage equity — you'd be one of our first hires
Location: Remote, anywhere in North America with timezone overlap
