Forward Deployment Engineer Denver, Colorado • Hybrid • Full-time
Annual salary: $60,000–$120,000 USD
Build agentic workflows that work in the real world.
ROCK brings together drones, LiDAR, 3D environments and AI agents for construction, mining, surveying and industrial operations. Our agentic spatial harness connects real-world data with tools and workflows tailored to how customers work.
We're looking for a hands-on project owner who is comfortable using ChatGPT and AI tools, communicates clearly, and enjoys turning an idea into a tested, working deployment. A project-management background is especially valuable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Work alongside ROCK Sales and customers to define useful projects and measurable outcomes.
• Own scope, priorities, milestones, dependencies and stakeholder communication.
• Build and configure agents, reusable skills, integrations and customer workflows.
• Test outputs and tool actions, troubleshoot failures and improve reliability.
• Help customers adopt the solution and provide a clear operational handoff.
• Bring customer needs and product feedback back to the ROCK team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Practical experience owning projects and following through on delivery.
• Comfort using ChatGPT and AI tools for substantive work, with the judgment to verify results.
• Clear communication with customers and technical teams.
• Willingness to build, configure, test and debug hands-on solutions.
• Curiosity and the ability to learn new tools and domains.
Experience with drones, 3D data, construction, mining or surveying is a strong plus. You don't need a particular job title or degree to demonstrate that you can do this work. Show us your ownership, communication and ability to make a workflow succeed.
