Job description
FLAMA in Houston seeks a Founding Director of Academics to lead curriculum design, teacher development, and instructional improvement for a Pre-K through 8th grade open-enrollment charter school. The role guides student support, family engagement, and a cognitive-science–based arts program in the new campus opening in August 2027.
The position requires a master’s degree (and preferably a Ph.D./Ed.D.), Texas teaching certification, and at least five years of instructional leadership experience,
