The role: Founding Sales Partner
We're hiring our first dedicated salesperson to help us generate revenue and grow our book of business — the bigger the client, the better. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder. Half the job is selling: getting on the phone, opening doors, and booking real opportunities. The other half is building the engine with us — the scripts, the targeting, and the playbook that lets us scale. This is a founding seat, not a quota chair. You'll have a direct hand in how we sell and who we sell to.
Who you'll sell to
Our focus right now is insurance agencies and HVAC businesses, with a particular eye on multi-location operators (2+ locations) that have high call volume and the most to gain from an always-on AI receptionist. Bigger, higher-value accounts are exactly where we want to grow.
What you'll do
Run outbound to owners and decision-makers at insurance agencies and HVAC businesses, prioritizing multi-location, high-demand accounts.
Open conversations, qualify real fit, and book demos for the founder to close (and grow toward closing them yourself).
Test and refine pitches each week; track what lands and document it.
Build the shared playbook: openers, objection handling, and follow-up cadences.
Sharpen our ICP — which segments, company sizes, and regions convert best — and feed that back into strategy.
You're probably a fit if
You've sold to business owners before and can hold a sharp, consultative conversation — not read a script.
You can sell into more than one industry and step up to larger, multi-location accounts.
You're as comfortable building process as you are dialing.
You want a hands-on founding role with direct founder mentorship and real upside.
You're available ~15-20 hrs/week, Mon-Fri after 10:00 AM PST.
Logistics
Part-time to start (~15-20 hrs/week), path to full-time as we grow together.
Comp: $25-35/hr base depending on experience, plus per-booked-demo bonus and commission on closed accounts. Founder seat = real upside.
Remote-friendly; weekly in-person co-working in Long Beach preferred.
We provide the dialer, CRM, lead lists, and a live product to demo. You bring the energy.
