Job Category: Medical Physician & Advanced Practice Provider. Be done with your workday at 4:30, Four-day workweek, no nights, weekends or call!

We are currently seeking a Primary Care Providerto join our team at theRush City Correctional Facility just one our north of Minneapolis,Minnesota.
ThePrimary Care Physicianprovides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Primary Care Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active and unrestricted Minnesota medical license or the ability to obtain one required
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
