Job description
Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks a Research Software Engineer to advance data acquisition systems at Upton, NY. You will design FPGA-based DAQ hardware/software, write HDL and C/C++ code, and work with EPICS/control software in a collaborative lab environment.
Ideal candidates have a strong FPGA background, Linux kernel experience, and a proven ability to test systems at bench and in situ, participating in cross-disciplinary projects across the lab.
