nJob Purpose & Scope
nPerforms complex reviews of high-risk activity leveraging internal and external data sources to detect and mitigate fraud loss for stakeholders.
nEssential Job Functions
nnnPerforms proactive fraud reviews derived from various alert and non-alert based sources to minimize fraud impacts.
n
nnResponds to fraud incidents as described within the Bank’s Fraud Risk Management Program.
n
nnResearches and forms initial determinations for moderately complex situations to mitigate potential losses to the Bank and stakeholders while providing detailed documentation.
n
nnAnalyzes and investigates unusual activity and transactional patterns through account surveillance, review of client background information, monetary transactions, and branch escalations while responding quickly to high-risk incidents.
n
nnUtilizes various systems to accurately document fraud attempts, trends, and loss events.
n
nnConducts due diligence research within various third party and internal databases to make fraud determinations.
n
nnReviews various reporting and provides approvals and guidance to front-line employees.
n
nnEngages management on fraud-related incidents and emerging trends and makes recommendations for process improvement.
n
n nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
nnnKnowledge of banking laws and regulations.

n nBasic Qualifications
nnnBachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience, required.

nnOne (1) or more years of work experience in fraud detection and/or Bank Secrecy Act reporting, required.
n
nnOne (1) or more years of prior financial institution work experience required.
n
