Job description
Fraud InvestigatorThe Fraud Investigator develops and conducts fraud investigations, monitors and dispositions fraud alerts, and mitigates financial losses through asset recovery for EagleBank Corp. Monitors and reports on fraud trends and engage in strategy development to address these trends. Requires direct and productive interaction with the Fraud Investigations Manager, BSA/AML, clients, and other fraud personnel within financial services organizations entities, and federal/local/state law enforcement agencies.The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $69,844.00 to $108,847.00. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.QualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, three (3) years of directly related professional experience may be substituted.2 years training and direct experience in fraud/financial crimes investigations, preferably within the Financial Services SectorRelevant financial services sector, military and/or law enforcement experience which includes financial investigations may be substitutedAbility to document case-work and prepare or create effective reports/forms Ability to communicate clearly with customer and employees (orally and in writing)Strong, demonstrated presentation skills to all levels within the enterpriseAble to design/teach/train individuals and groups on moderately complex materials relating to security and fraudProficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to communicate clearly interview or interrogate, when appropriateAbility to interact productively with clients and staff (orally on-clients in data-gathering and supportWorking knowledge of banking products such as checking accounts, wire transfer, ACH, credit/debit cardsPreferences:Direct experience in interacting with law enforcement, AML/BSA, etcKnowledge and experience with case- management systems and core banking systemsWorking knowledge of VerafinSpecific knowledge of core banking systems, operation of common banking products, applicable laws and regulations, and how each may be impacted by fraudulent activitiesWillingness to join and participate in local security and fraud-management organizationsDon't meet all the requirements?
