Freight Forwarder, Ocean ExportBostonNearest Major Market: BostonAt DSV, our purpose is to keep customers' supply chains flowing and enable the business of our customers by ensuring reliable and efficient transport and logistics services through storage and transport of goods by air, sea and road. As a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export, you will be responsible for overseeing the export of goods via ocean transport. This position ensures that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective mannerCoordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goodsMaintain relationships with customers and partnersAnalyze market trends and identify areas for process improvementEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and lawsOversee documentation for export shipmentsEducational background / Work experience:Familiarity with export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and industry best practicesSkills & Competencies:Proficient in using computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain managementExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectivelyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controlsKnowledge of shipping routes and schedulesLanguage skillsFluency in English is requiredKnowledge of additional languages is a plusComputer LiteracyProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with logistics software and systems is requiredAt Will Employment: DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as "at will" employees. Additionally, each employee has the right to terminate his/her employment at any time.The expected base pay range for this position is $24.60 to $32.00 per hour.
