Job description
Fresh Cut Department ManagerManages the Fresh Cut operation according to Company standards. Supervises Fresh Cut Department employees assigned. Provides customer service. Ensures product quality, freshness, safety and selection.Duties and responsibilities include championing Company and Division customer service programs, handling customer relations, supervising and training personnel, preparing fresh fruits and vegetables and salads, receiving and controlling inventory, creating promotional displays, complying with food and workplace safety rules, assisting customers, ensuring safety and sanitation of work area, and performing all job duties safely and accurately.Skills and physical requirements include working knowledge of Fresh Cut Department duties, good communication skills, knowledge of workplace practices, understanding of company policies, knowledge of food safety and handling, physical ability to lift and maneuver objects, manual dexterity, mental alertness, and operating various equipment.Work environment includes exposure to water, ice, cleaning agents, and cold temperatures.Safety-sensitive position with tasks that could affect the safety or health of the employee or others.
