Front Desk AgentSnowbird is continually looking for the best, those who share a passion for these mountains and the outdoors. Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.Location: Iron Blosam Lodge, Snowbird ResortStatus: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Sunday 7am-3pm/3pm-11pmYou must be available to work both shifts based on business needs, any day of the week including weekends and holidays. Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels.SummaryAs a full-time Iron Blosam Lodge Front Desk Agent at Snowbird, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout our guest's stay by exceeding their expectations and performing all duties regarding the operation of the front desk. You will assist guests with check-in and out, give general information about the resort, answer the telephone, make reservations, receive customer complaints, and find solutions, and demonstrate outstanding customer service.What You'll DoCheck guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner.Display the ability to communicate discount and up sell strategies.Accommodate guests' special requests and VIP arrivals with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.Book lodging reservations using knowledge of occupancy levels as well as answer softphone calls when appropriate.Respond to guest questions and tasks action to resolve customer complaints.Verify guest payments: process credit cards.Protect guest privacy.Assist guests with restaurant and spa reservations and general knowledge of the resort.Post after hours Sundries shop charges in the PMS system.Assist guest services (concierge) when needed.Update guest tiles with phone number & email address at check in.Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor.What You Need To Get The Job DoneHigh school diploma or equivalent.Hotel receptionist job experience is a plus.Great listening, speaking, presentation, and up sell skills.Multitasking is a must.Strong organizational skills.18 years of age or older.A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.Work ScheduleYou must be available to work both shifts based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels.Working ConditionsWork is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.
