Unarmed Security GuardAre you dedicated, observant, and passionate about ensuring safety and security? We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will help prevent incidents and address any concerns promptly. If you are committed to providing top-notch security services while maintaining a professional demeanor, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our dedicated team in the Cincinnati, OH area.General Duties:Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises.Alert help by sounding facility alarms.Prevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.Control traffic by directing drivers.Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses.Ensure safety and security of the facility and personnel through access control and screening and divesting proceduresConduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background.Comply with all legal requirements.Contributes to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts.De-escalate volatile situations; Protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non-physical); Contribute to safe and secure work environment.Project peace.Job Type: Full-Time and Part-TimePay: $18.00-$20.00Expected hours: 8 – 40 per weekBenefits:Professional development assistanceSchedule:HolidaysEvening ShiftNight shiftOn callWeekends as neededWeekends onlyEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Required)Security: 1 years (Preferred)Language(s):English for purposes of internal communications (Required)Spanish (Strongly Preferred)Military or Law Enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Additional Requirements:Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background checkAbility to Commute:Cincinnati, OH (Required)Ability to Relocate:Cincinnati, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personThis position is based out of Cincinnati, OH and will report to Sahara Global Security personnel located at our Dayton Field Office (DFO).Sahara Global Security is a Columbus, OH based security guard provider with global ambitions.
