Pediatric Front Desk Coordinator

Position Overview
The Pediatric Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and families, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is responsible for managing the front office, supporting scheduling and administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule to optimize patient flow
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with patient needs
Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information
Collect payments, co-pays, and balances
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth transitions between front and back office
Manage appointment confirmations and follow-ups
Support overall office organization and cleanliness of the front area
Qualifications
Prior dental or medical front office experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of insurance verification and scheduling preferred
High attention to detail and organization
