Administrative And Patient Care SupportWork Location: Century City, CA, USAOnsite or Remote Fully On-Site Work Schedule Tuesday - Friday: 9:30am - 8:30pm, including rotating holidays Employment Type 2 - Staff: Career Duration IndefiniteMajor duties include but are not limited to:Provide administrative and patient care support to physicians, staff and patients within the assigned clinic.Assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge.Work as a member of the Ambulatory Care clinic team to provide smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation.Be energetic, positive and a team player and be willing to embrace tasks as assigned.This clinic is open 365 days a year and offers extended hours.Salary Range: $27.74- $39.36/hourlyRequired:Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high volume settingExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignmentsSkill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment making process, including transportation arrangements and maintain sub-specialty physician schedulesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate multiple appointments with staff from many clinical services at the UCLA Medical CenterPreferred:Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and EmailSkill in demonstrating work experience with a database computer programKnowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage providedKnowledge of medical terminology
