Job Opportunity In Valencia, CaWork location: Valencia, CA, USAWork schedule Wednesday 12:00pm-9:00pm, Thursday 8:00am-9:00pm, Friday 8:00am-9:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm (30-minute lunch). Must work holidays that fall on your scheduled shift (8:30am-5:00pm, 30 minute lunch).Salary range: $27.74 - 39.36 Hourly Employment Type 1 - Staff: Contract Duration IndefinitePrimary Duties And ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will provide administrative and patient care support in the Ambulatory and Community Practice. You will assist in coordinating patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration to discharge and work as a member of the Ambulatory Care clinic team to provide smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation. Salary range: $27.74-$39.36/HourlyJob QualificationsRequired:Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high-volume setting.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignmentsSkill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment making process, including transportation arrangements and maintain sub-specialty physician schedulesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate multiple appointments with staff from many clinical services at the UCLA Medical CenterPreferred:Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and EmailSkill in demonstrating work experience with a database computer programKnowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage providedKnowledge of medical terminology
