Location: Downsville, LA
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Job Duties
Greet and assist visitors, customers, vendors, and delivery personnel in a professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
Process customer invoices, purchase orders, and related documentation
Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound truck deliveries and pickups
Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse/manufacturing personnel regarding shipment schedules
Prepare and process UPS shipments, including shipping labels, tracking, and documentation
Monitor shipping and delivery status to ensure timely arrivals and departures
Maintain customer records and update information in company systems
Assist with order entry, filing, data entry, and general office administration
Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages
Support inventory, production, and logistics teams with administrative tasks as needed
Maintain organized records and filing systems
Provide exceptional customer service and assist with issue resolution
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred.
Experience Requirements
At least one year of administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office software.
Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting multiple departments or executive staff is beneficial.
Experience with scheduling, document preparation, recordkeeping, and office coordination is preferred.
Familiarity with business software, office equipment, and data entry systems is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and professionalism are well positioned for success as a Front Office Manager.
Knowledge of shipping procedures and UPS systems
Experience coordinating transportation or delivery schedules
Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments
Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments
Physical Capabilities
Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks.
Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
