Job description

Veterinary Office ManagerAn established veterinary practice in Central Austin is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our growing team. We are a full-service animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to pets and their owners throughout the Austin community.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on organization, and has a passion for customer service and animal care. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, capable multitasker, and hands-on team player who can help support the daily operations of a busy veterinary practice.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional client serviceGreet clients, answer high-volume phone calls, and provide a welcoming customer experienceCoordinate appointments, meetings, and staff schedulesMaintain organized office records, files, and documentationTeam Support & CoordinationSupervise, train, mentor, and support administrative office staffDelegate tasks and monitor workflow to maximize team productivityAssist leadership with special projects and operational initiativesProvide administrative support to Practice Management as neededAccounting & Office ManagementProcess accounts payable and prepare bank depositsMaintain office supply inventory and coordinate purchasing of supplies and equipmentAssist with facilities coordination, vendor communication, and office maintenanceCoordinate company meetings, staff events, and internal activitiesMarketing & Client EngagementSupport and help coordinate social media and community engagement effortsAssist with initiatives that enhance client communication and overall customer experienceQualifications5+ years of experience in an office management, administrative, or operations rolePrevious experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, healthcare, or professional services environment preferredProficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude with a team-oriented and service-focused mindsetPassion for animals and commitment to providing outstanding client supportWhy Join UsEstablished and respected veterinary practice serving the Austin communityCollaborative, supportive, and team-oriented cultureOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing practiceVariety in responsibilities with strong day-to-day involvement in operationsWork alongside professionals dedicated to high-quality animal carePosition DetailsFull-time, on-site roleLocated in Central Austin, TexasCompetitive compensation based on experience
