FSH Physical Therapy Aide PRNTo provide high quality of care through compassion to all we serve by creating a supportive environment for our patients, clinical staff and employees.Job Summary:This position is accountable for performing patient-related tasks and non-patient related tasks under the continuous and immediate supervision of a Physical Therapist.Reasonable Accommodation:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position without compromising patient care.Required Skills:Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Ability to demonstrate clear oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively plan and prioritize work.Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment.Ability to provide exceptional customer service.PC competency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteEssential Functions:Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order.Change linens, such as bed sheets and pillow cases.Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss treatment.Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.Transport patients to and from treatment areas, using wheelchairs or providing standing support.Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.Other duties as assigned.Required Experience:Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.College level course work in kinesiology, physical therapy or healthcare related field preferred.Two years' experience as a Physical Therapy Aide preferred.Inpatient experience preferred.Required Licenses/Certifications:Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Salary:$25/hr.
