Job description
Kalapawai Cafe and Deli Waimanalo is hiring for the position of line cook. We seek friendly, well-organized, and energetic individuals to join our kitchen crew. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. 36-40 hrs. a week. full time/part time $16/hr.+ tips (avg $4- $6/hr. added to paycheck) = $20- $22/hr. We offer medical with Kaiser Permanente or HMSA (paid by employer) 401K 25% employee discount
Requirements/Responsibilities
Non-slip shoes.
Prompt attendance is a must!!!
Flexible availability, weekends, and holidays
Must be very clean, well organized, and able to move from station to station efficiently
Basic knife skills are a bonus but we are willing to train
Daily kitchen prep for both lunch and dinner services
General cleaning and facilities maintenance
Other duties may be assigned from time to time
Ability to work in a team in a very fast-paced environment
Adhere to the chef's recipes and preferred cooking techniques
Food safety and sanitation is key!
