Must be flexible to work varied hours, evenings, weekends (to include two weekends per month) and holidays. Average 42 hours per week.Responsibilities:Grow labor sales through quality and efficient service and assembly of customer and store equipment (equipment may include bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey, baseball, golf, racquet sports, paintball markers, and other merchandise in a Scheels store)Ability to safely fill CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markersLead and continually teach/train all service shop tasks to all associates in the service shopAbility to efficiently and effectively coordinate the delivery team:Coordinate and adhere to a weekly delivery schedule to allow punctuality, ample time for customer questions, pre-inspection of delivery location and equipment, and to ensure proper equipment functionCoordinate delivery associates' schedulesEnsure safe and proper loading and transport of merchandise to be deliveredEfficiently assemble service and/or deliver customer and store merchandise. This may include exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, safes, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles, and all other Scheels merchandiseTroubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issuesMaintain accurate and detailed records for store, customer equipment, and delivery trucksExecute quick and efficient ordering of parts and supplies while staying within designated budgetsEnsure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and delivery area in your storeManage training and training schedules for all delivery associatesMaintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipmentExecute proper ordering of parts and supplies while staying within designated budgetsEnsure a clean and professional environmentExceptional problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsAbility to write reports and speak effectively before groups of customers and associatesCustomer Service:Genuinely and consistently treat co-workers, customers and business partners like they are the most important person including eye contact, a smile and a genuine "Thank you"Culture:Approach daily tasks, projects and follow-up communication with energy and sense of urgencyCultivate a deep desire to become a knowledge expert in their role with the ability to apply their knowledge and experience with great impactShow respect and appreciation for others and ScheelsArrive to work and meetings 10 minutes earlyTeam Mentality:Genuine interest and action in helping others before yourself, regardless of recognition or rewardTeach-ability:Consistent eagerness to listen, learn, apply knowledge and accept critical feedbackAbility to adapt to a changing work environmentAbility to apply concepts of basic math, grammar, punctuation and spellingDress Code:Meets Scheels dress and grooming expectations in support of professional, clean and welcoming environment for customers, co-workers and business partnersEfficiency:Demonstrate pride and ownership of their work while meeting expected deadlinesEducation & Experience:The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a clean, valid driver's license and be an approved driver through DOT & Scheels driving standards and be at least 21 years of age.
