Occupational Therapy AssistantCarrus Health has been providing patients with the finest healthcare facilities across different locations in Texas and Oklahoma. Carrus is committed to delivering high-quality personalized healthcare to each of our patients.Essential Functions:Provides services under the general supervision of the Occupational Therapist.Assists with patient assessment and treatment of individual patients and patient groups.Assists with patient and family instructions.Participates in family and team conferences; and documents services according to departmental and hospital standards.Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.Qualifications:Requires basic computer skills.Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred.Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.License and Certifications:Requires a current state Occupational Therapy Assistant license in accordance with the State Board of Medical Examiners or State Board of Occupational Therapy.BLS certification is required upon hire.
