To be eligible to apply to this position, candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements:
Must obtain a 70% or above on the GetBadged Entry Exam.
Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (Birth or Naturalization).
Must be a High School graduate, or possess a G.E.D.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Pass a Physical Agility Test (PAT).
Pass a thorough background investigation.
Pass a medical and psychological exam.
Be of good character and high moral standards.
Possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions, to read and write
proficiently in the English language.
Must be able to write clear and concise reports, and have good people
skills.
Candidates may be subjected to oral testing and interviews, as well as scrutiny of
all application information.
Salary & Compensation
The Uxbridge Police Department is pleased to offer a generous Salary & Compensation package.
$72,797 - $81,962

EMT/Paramedic Bonus
Generous Paid Time Off:
Personal Days, Meeting/Training Time, Holidays & Sick Days.
Up to (6) Weeks Vacation
Fitness Equipment/Gym Membership Reimbursement
Clothing Allowance:
$1,250/year, after first year.
First year, used for initial insurance for Police Academy.
Not eligible until after Academy and FTO completion.
