FT PTA - Physical Therapist AssistantCentenary, SC $52,000 - $72,000 a yearProfession: Physical Therapy Allied HealthJob Type: Full TimePhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full TimeMLR is seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position with our clients established healthcare system. There are numerous openings for PTAs system wide. Roles available for those with either outpatient or inpatient experience!Key Responsibilities for Physical Therapist Assistant:Patient Support: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).Therapeutic Interventions: Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.Work Setting: OutpatientCollaboration: Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including PTs, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide well-rounded patient care.Progress Monitoring: Observe and document patient progress, report any significant changes to the supervising PT, and adjust treatment plans as needed.Patient Education: Instruct patients and their families on home exercises and strategies to support continued rehabilitation.Compliance: Adhere to all outpatient clinic policies and regulatory standards.Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant:Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.Licensure: Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in South Carolina or a compact license.Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities, with a team-oriented approach.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage starting at $24.88Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities for professional growth and continuing educationApply with MLR today and expect quick contact from a dedicated recruiter!
