You will also have the opportunity to learn valuable skills such as verbal de-escalation and customer care.What you will do:Walk and stand for prolonged periods of timeWear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kitEngage in high volume face-to-face public interactionsWrite detailed and accurate reports on incidentsMaintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activityEnsure safety and security of site staff and visitorsProvide empathetic approach to managing escalated situationsContribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer careYou will be a great fit if you:Are at least 21 years of ageHave a minimum of 2 years' Security or Military experienceHave a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordAre able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.Possess a valid Washington State Security LicenseHave effective verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service*Please note, successful candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton.* If you do not have a Washington State Security License, you will be responsible for paying the fees to obtain one. The 2024 SGL costs are $31.05 for fingerprints and $101.00 for the License application.
