FT/ Weekend Awake Over Night (AON)- Direct Support Professional (DSP)Baltimore County/ BuckhornRate of Pay $23/hrFLSA Status Non-ExemptWe are seeking a Full-Time Awake Over Night Weekday Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.This position is:Friday 11p-9a, Saturday 10p – 9a & Sunday 10p – 9a (Working with Females)Job Responsibilities:Assisting with participation and exploration of the communityCultivating and expanding independent living skillsProvide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationshipsComplete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills etc.Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicableOther duties as assignedBenefits include:Health/Vision/Dental/Life insurance plans401 (K) Retirement PlanSick and Vacation timeShort and Long-term disability plansPaid HolidaysPaid trainings, including CPR/First Aid and opportunities to obtain Med Tech CertificationTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.D requiredCurrent driver's license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving recordMust be able to transport people supported as neededSome lifting and transferring may be requiredRegular Base Rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
