n nSUMMARY OVERVIEW
nThe Fuel Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling fuel delivery to aircraft. This position involves communicating with pilots, ground crews, and fueling personnel to ensure timely and accurate fueling services according to flight schedules. The dispatcher monitors fuel levels, manages fuel orders, and responds to changing fuel needs in a fast-paced airport environment. You will also maintain records of fueling operations and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
nRESPONSIBILITIES
nnnCoordinate the dispatch of fuel trucks and personnel to aircraft and ground vehicles
n
nnSchedule and manage fueling operations to ensure timely service for departing and arriving flights
n
nnMonitor fuel levels in storage tanks and manage refilling schedules
n
nnCommunicate effectively with airline representatives, ground crew, and fueling personnel
n
nnUtilize fuel management software to track fuel deliveries and consumption
n
nnEnsure compliance with airport safety regulations and procedures during fueling operations
n
nnRespond to fueling requests and coordinate emergency fueling needs
n
nnMaintain accurate records of fuel dispatches, deliveries, and inventory levels
n
nnAnalyze and report on fuel usage and operational efficiency
n
nnLiaise with maintenance teams to ensure fueling equipment is in optimal working condition
n
nnProvide training and guidance to new fueling staff on operational procedures
n
nnStay informed about changes in fuel prices and supply chain dynamics
n
nnImplement and uphold environmental and quality control standards in fuel handling
n
nnAssist in resolving fueling-related issues and customer complaints
n
nnParticipate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n
nnExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
n
nnPerform any additional duties as assigned by management
n
n nQUALIFICATIONS
nnn18 years of age or older
n
nnEligible to work in the United States
n
nnCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
n
nnExperience in dispatch, logistics, or a similar coordination role
n
nnStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
n
nnBasic computer proficiency for managing schedules and maintaining records
n
nnKnowledge of aviation fueling procedures and safety practices
n
nnAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
n
nnEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
n
nnPass a background check and drug screen
n
nnEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
n
nnAirlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
