From pipelines to power plants, roadways to reservoirs, schoolyards to security solutions, clients look to TRC for breakthrough thinking backed by the innovative follow-through of an industry leader.We recognize that the expertise of our staff is our strongest asset, so we generously reward employees for successful performance and invest in their careers through training and the development of new skills and certifications.ResponsibilitiesReceives, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines at terminal facilitiesTakes fuel samples in accordance with prescribed proceduresConnects lines and grounding wires to tank trucksVisually inspects samples of fuelGauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levelsChecks pumping systems for correct operating pressure or unusual noisesConducts inventory, supports quality surveillance, and prepares and validates inventory & accounting documentation using BSM-E computer software and hardwareAligns tanks, valves, and manifolds for receipt, issue, and intra-farm transfersAssists with preventive maintenance and repairs on terminal systemsInventory and accounting functionsPerforms general housekeeping and grounds maintenance for assigned areasTransfers fuel products via fuel pods to various internal facilitiesQualificationsPrior experience in operating fuel distribution systems a plusQualified to receive, handle, and issue petroleum products, to include recyclable jet fuel, and complete the accounting and administrative documentation related theretoHave practical experience in all facets of fuel distribution systems to include pipeline systems, storage tanks, pumps, valves, fuel filters, truck fill stands, pantographs, and recyclable storage and disposal componentsBe able to convert gauge and temperature readings to quantities of products and be able to perform basic quality assurance functionsBe able to correlate pressures, temperatures, and quantities as read from various gauges and meters normally found at a fuel facilityHave a basic understanding of written description and instructions pertaining to facility operations, be able to implement cyclic maintenance programs and safety programs relating to all aspects of facility operation, and have demonstrated expertise in spill cleanup procedures, prevention and control measures, related equipment operations, and maintenanceHave experience in and be capable of various types of petroleum sampling of storage tanks, trucks, and fill standsCurrent NEAC Level III backgroundMust have a current valid Driver's LicenseBenefits: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company matchPaid time off contingent upon full time or part-time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year)All full-time employees enjoy an 11 Paid Holidays per yearTRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residenceCompensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition.
