Full-Charge BookkeeperSumBridge is partnering with a reputable public accounting firm in Auburn, WA to hire an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper. This is a hybrid opportunity ideal for a senior-level accounting professional with strong general ledger (GL) expertise, QuickBooks experience, and knowledge of Washington State tax compliance.If you enjoy working with multiple clients, solving complex accounting issues, and ensuring financial accuracy, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and growing firm.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industriesIdentify, reconcile, and resolve general ledger discrepanciesPrepare and file Washington State taxes, including:Payroll taxExcise taxB&O taxPersonal property taxEnsure financial records are accurate and tax-readyCommunicate with clients regarding accounting questions and documentationTrain and support client bookkeepers on best practicesMentor junior accounting and bookkeeping staffRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in accountingExperience working with multiple clients (public accounting or client-facing environment preferred)Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and retained earningsExperience with Washington State Department of Revenue and payroll complianceProficiency with:QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks OnlineXero accounting softwareMicrosoft Excel (advanced) and WordPayroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto)Sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok)Ideal CandidateDetail-oriented and highly accurate in financial reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesExcellent client communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentBenefits & PerksCompetitive hourly pay: $35–$38/hour DOEHybrid work schedule (Auburn, WA)100% employer-paid medical and dental insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO)Sabbatical program (after 7 years)Supportive, team-oriented cultureModern, paperless accounting systems and tools
