What We're Looking For:
DVM or equivalent with licensure in good standing in Connecticut
A compassionate communicator with strong clinical and interpersonal skills
A collaborative team player who respects both clients and colleagues
A veterinarian committed to high-quality medicine and ethical standards

What You'll Do:
Delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care while prioritizing the comfort and emotional well-being of your patients.
Performing thorough physical exams, diagnostics, medical treatments, and routine surgical procedures , with appropriate referrals when necessary.
Educating pet owners with clear, empathetic communication—explaining exam findings, discussing treatment options, and guiding them through their pet’s care.
Maintaining accurate medical, surgical, and controlled drug records , ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
Collaborating with colleagues on ongoing case management and patient follow-ups , fostering a seamless continuum of care.
Staying sharp and current: you'll be encouraged and supported in meeting your continuing education goals (30 hours of accredited CE per year).
Contributing to the growth of our outstanding paraprofessional team, empowering them to deliver top-tier support and client service.
Representing Oronoque with pride in both the professional veterinary community and the public sphere.
