Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and support modern, high-performance web applications with a strong focus on React, Python, FastAPI, SQL, and AWS. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full stack, contribute to application modernization, and help deliver scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript practices.

Create reusable front-end components and support clean, scalable application architecture.

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.

Work with relational databases such as SQL Server to design, optimize, and troubleshoot data solutions.

Identify and resolve performance issues across the user interface, APIs, and database layers.

Support cloud-based application development and modernization efforts in AWS environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches, development standards, and delivery priorities.

Contribute to CI/CD workflows, DevSecOps practices, testing, debugging, and code reviews.

Support deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution as needed.

Continuously look for ways to improve maintainability, scalability, security, and development efficiency.

Skills

7+ years of full-stack software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component-based development.

Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Experience building backend applications with Python and FastAPI.

Solid knowledge of SQL Server or other enterprise relational databases.

Experience working in AWS cloud environments.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevSecOps practices.

Ability to diagnose and improve application performance across multiple layers of the stack.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

Experience with microservices and distributed systems.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Exposure to infrastructure as code and cloud automation tools.

Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning solutions.

Knowledge of secure development practices and application security principles.

Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a focus on code quality and long-term maintainability.
