Type: Contract, potential to convert before EOY
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to develop, test, and support complex applications with a strong focus on secure, scalable systems. Must be hands-on, collaborative, and experienced in modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate custom software solutions
Lead testing, implementation, and support for critical applications
Write unit tests and support integration/UAT cycles
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Ensure security and monitoring are built into applications
Contribute to Agile development, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
Required Skills:
4+ years of experience in software engineering
Strong coding skills in Java (v17+ or similar) and Angular (v18+ or similar)
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
Solid understanding of secure coding practices
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, Docker
Familiarity with Agile, unit testing (JUnit/Karma), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
