Assembler II - 2nd ShiftEaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Full Time Assembler II - 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Arden, NC location. The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:The Assembler II position is responsible for performing complex and repetitive wiring of buckets and doors for feeding the main assembly line. This role ensures all wiring meets electrical specifications and standards, performs quality checks, and prepares finished products for installation. In this function you will:Wire bucket and door assemblies according to specifications and standards using tools such as wire strippers, crimpers and basic hand toolsExecute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM)Ensure all connections and crimps meet required specifications and standardsInspect completed work to verify electrical standardsFollow and maintain production schedules to meet assembly line demandCollaborate with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers to identify and escalate production issues promptlyPromote and maintain a safe work environment for self and othersPerform additional duties as assignedCross train for other job functions as necessaryProactively identify opportunities for process improvementQualifications:Required Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active - Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirementPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in wiringPrior experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to use power and hand toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, internet, and related tools)Position Criteria:Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at waist, shoulder, and overhead levels; perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting; and regularly climb up and down ladders in support of material handling and tool use, with or without reasonable accommodation. Demonstrated commitment to safety and reliable attendance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
