Full-Time Caregiver – 12-Hour Day & Night ShiftsAlways Best Care Senior Services is seeking two experienced full-time caregivers to provide consistent one-on-one care for a client with advanced dementia residing in a senior living community in Dallas.We are hiring for both a day-shift caregiver and an overnight caregiver. Each caregiver will work three 12-hour shifts per week, providing a consistent 36-hour weekly schedule.The ideal caregiver will have experience working with individuals with dementia and understand the importance of patience, routine, redirection, safety supervision, and compassionate hands-on care.Available ShiftsDay Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PMNight Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AMApplicants must be available to work three days per week and reliably complete the full 12-hour shift.Responsibilities Include:Providing continuous one-on-one supervision and companionshipAssisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal careProviding meal and feeding assistance as neededProviding reminders, cueing, and frequent redirectionMonitoring the client closely for safetyAssisting with mobility and activities of daily livingResponding calmly and appropriately to confusion and dementia-related behaviorsMaintaining a familiar and consistent routineProviding reassurance and emotional supportCommunicating changes in the client's condition or behavior to the officeDocumenting care provided throughout the shiftRequirements:Previous professional caregiving experience requiredPrevious dementia or memory-care experience strongly preferredMust be comfortable caring for a client with advanced dementiaMust demonstrate patience and the ability to calmly redirect a cognitively impaired clientMust be dependable and punctualMust have reliable transportationMust be able to consistently work three 12-hour shifts per weekThis is a consistent 36-hour-per-week assignment for caregivers seeking a stable schedule and the opportunity to provide individualized care to a client with advanced dementia.
