Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantFull-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. The role supports an occupational therapist in delivering individualized treatment plans and improving patient mobility, independence, and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to deliver individualized treatment plansAssist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activitiesMonitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomesEducate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programsCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient careMaintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelinesQualifications:Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtainNBCOT certificationBLS certificationPreferred Skills:Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting
