Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Licenses & Certifications: RN license required
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Key Duties:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a patient-centered environment
Educate patients and families on health management and home care
Ensure safety and compliance through participation in quality initiatives
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, respecting their cultural and personal preferences
