Companion CaregiverExecutive Home Care of Southeast & Seacoast New Hampshire is seeking a warm, dependable, and compassionate Companion Caregiver to provide meaningful companionship and everyday support to our clients in the comfort of their homes. As a Companion Caregiver, you'll help clients remain engaged, connected, and comfortable while supporting their independence and quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors and making a positive difference in their day.What You'll DoProvide friendly companionship and meaningful conversationSpend quality time with clients through activities such as reading, games, puzzles, crafts, music, or watching favorite programsAccompany clients on walks, appointments, shopping trips, or other outings as appropriateAssist with errands and everyday tasks that help clients remain independentPrepare simple meals, snacks, and beveragesHelp with light household tasks such as tidying, laundry, dishes, and organizingProvide reminders for appointments, activities, and daily routinesEncourage social engagement and participation in hobbies and interestsProvide a reassuring presence and emotional supportObserve and communicate changes in a client's mood, behavior, or overall well-being to the appropriate team memberMaintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for every clientFollow each client's individualized care plan and company policiesWhat We're Looking ForA compassionate, patient, and dependable personalityGenuine interest in helping older adults maintain independence and quality of lifePrevious caregiving, companion, senior care, hospitality, customer service, or related experience is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build trust and develop positive relationships with clients and familiesAbility to work independently and responsibly in a client's homeReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass a background check and meet applicable employment requirementsDementia or Alzheimer's experience/training is a plusLNA or PCA certification is welcome but not required for a companion care positionWhy Join Executive Home Care?
