The Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, through face-to-face interaction. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide rental back-up, service customers and deliver administrative support in our airport location.This position is located at our office at Islip MacArthur (ISP) Airport: 150 Arrival Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779.This is a full-time (40 hour/week) position with a flexible schedule within our operating hours of 8am-12am. The starting rate of pay is $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include:Take incoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers and other business partnersProvide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phoneMeet and greet customers in a friendly and timely mannerProvide directions and general assistanceAssist to assess condition of rental upon returnProcess returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactionsUnderstand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other servicesMay sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipmentNotify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenancePerform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billingPerform miscellaneous and backup duties job-related duties as assignedMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityQualificationsMust be at least 18 years old.Must have a high school diploma or GED.Must have at least 2 years of college and/or customer service experience combinedThe ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted, U.S. driver's license.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Apart from religious observation, must be able to work 40 hours within our operating hours of 8am-12amMust be able to read, write, and understand English
