Robert Half’s Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) program is expanding in Central New Jersey. We are seeking experienced senior-level accounting and finance professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy the variety of project-based work, while benefiting from the stability of full-time employment.
About the FTEP Program
As a Full-Time Engagement Professional, you will be a full-time Robert Half employee with a consistent salary and full benefits, working on diverse, high-impact projects with our clients across multiple industries. This role offers the unique blend of security, flexibility, and continuous professional growth.
What You’ll Do
Assignments will vary depending on client needs but may include
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Oversee GL accounting activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting processes
Assist in ERP implementations, system enhancements, or transitions
Provide leadership to accounting teams during periods of growth or change
Step in as interim Controller or Accounting Manager as needed

Accounting Manager
Assistant Controller
Controller
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Proven xzgxqkn ability to excel in fast-paced or changing environments
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
CPA or MBA is a plus
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is valuable
