Personal attributes in the areas of communication, collaboration, integrity, positive approach and growth mindset are key.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.Emptying trash cans and recycling bins.Cleaning windows, chalkboards, and whiteboards.Restocking restroom suppliesSanitation: Ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene to promote a healthy environment.Disinfecting high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs and light switches.Managing cleaning schedules to accommodate school activities.Repairs and Maintenance: Conducting minor repairs on fixtures, furniture, and equipment.Reporting any significant maintenance or repair to head custodian/principal.Safety: Ensuring that the school premises are safe for students, staff, and visitors.Assisting with emergency procedures if necessary.Support for Events: Setting up and cleaning up after school events, meetings, and activities.Collaboration: Cooperating with school staff and administrators to meet cleaning and maintenance needs.Other duties as assignedHours: 2pm-10pm Salary: $16.00 per hour Benefits: Several Health Insurance Options, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellness Clinic, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: Strong leadership abilities to effectively communicate and motivate shift custodians. Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration. Proficient and competent demonstration of reading and writing capabilities. Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation. Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills. Ability to utilize 21st century technological skills to enhance job performance. Team player that is willing to assist in areas as required to ensure that CCSC campus is up to the standards set by the superintendent, administrators, Grounds Director, and Maintenance Director. Willingness to obtain Yellow Card and/or CDL to assist in transporting students before/after school for additional payPhysical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone Must have a customer service focus that promotes and encourages a positive school climate
