Job Position: Floor TechnicianOur Essential Team Members Enjoy:Competitive PayFlexible SchedulesCareer Path OpportunitiesPaid TrainingAttendance and Sign On BonusJob Position Description:This position is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing carpeted and hard floor surfaces. Duties include but are not limited to:Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using ServiceMaster provided tools and proceduresDuties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampoo carpets, stripping, waxing, buffing, moving furniture, disinfecting floors with sanitizer, spot cleaning, cleaning of elevators and stairsMust achieve thorough understanding of buffing, stripping floors, waxing, and identifying different flooring typesAbility to operate various floor equipment and machineryMaintain inventory of supplies and equipmentUse proper PPE and safety equipment as requiredOpen and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.Physical Demands and Qualifications:Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reachingMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 55lbs.Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and usesMinimum 1-2 years' experience as a floor tech is highly desired but not requiredWill provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learnThe ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a mustContribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitudeContribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on timeTreat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respectHave a driver's license for at least 5 years with good driving recordHave a clean criminal backgroundAble to work days, nights and weekendsCompensation: $1.00 - $25.00 per hourBuilt on a foundation of great brands and employees with a passion for service, our vision is to be the leading provider of essential services through empowered people, world-class customer service and convenient access.
