Position Overview
A Gastroenterologist is sought to join a well-supported team in a thriving regional setting. The role offers a balanced schedule, light call, and opportunities for academic engagement and teaching.
Responsibilities Include
Performing a high volume of procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and ERCPs.
Seeing approximately 13 patients per clinic day.
Collaborating with primary care providers and specialists for referrals.
Providing clinical care in an endoscopy suite with anesthesia support.
Engaging in some light call responsibilities, with overnight support.
Participating in academic activities with medical students, residents, and APPs.
Qualifications And Skills
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
Experience with a broad range of GI procedures.
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.
