1.0FTE Full-Time Hospitalist (Nocturnist) Physician Opportunity
San Diego, California – Sharp Rees‑Stealy Medical Group / Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center
Job Focus
Full‑time Nocturnist: Night shifts (7 on / 7 off): 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m., admitting 8:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. – cap at 8 admissions, cross coverage on 30 patients on service.
Salary Range:
Approx. $300,000 – $354,000+ (actual compensation may be higher and may include productivity incentives, quality and performance bonuses, hospital/call stipends, extra shift pay and other components).
Sign‑on bonus and full comprehensive benefits package.
Paid vacation, CME and sick time including annual CME allowance.
2 Year Shareholder track.
Paid malpractice insurance.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible.
EPIC EMR utilized system‑wide.
Closed ICU (Intensivists run ICU, provide procedures and 24/7 in‑house coverage).
Team‑based hospitalist care with a culture of collaboration.
