Job description
Working parents, on the Upper East Side, need to hire a Nanny/House Manager to assist with running the household and caring for three school‑aged children.
Responsibilities
Transport the children to and from school and after‑school activities.
Assist with taking care of our cars (getting gas, taking for service, etc.).
Coordinate play‑dates, take the children on special trips, oversee homework, instrument practice, help with scheduling for the children, and take them to various appointments.
Purchase and wrap gifts for birthday parties or holidays.
Pack for trips and sleep‑away camp.
Assist with grocery shopping, laundry and rooms, and cooking for children.
Occasionally travel to the Hamptons during weeks off from school and live in the Hamptons for summer; help care for all three children during the handful of weeks they are home before/after camp.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate can drive and swim, knows NYC very well and is flexible to live in the Hamptons for the summer during the work week.
Schedule: 8am to 7pm, or alternatively 11am or noon to 7pm or 8pm.
Salary:
$90–$110k. Immediate start.
