Job description
This full-time ICU Registered Nurse position provides high-acuity, lifesaving care for critically ill patients in a top-tier hospital in Ozark, AL. The role involves monitoring vital signs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing advanced life-support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-acuity, lifesaving care to critically ill or injured patients.
Continuously monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
Administer medications, perform complex assessments, and document care accurately.
Support patients' families with education and emotional guidance.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license).
BLS-Healthcare Provider certification required.
ACLS and PALS certifications required within the first 6 months of hire.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Skills:
Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience
You hold an active Alabama RN license.
You have BLS certification and can obtain ACLS/PALS quickly.
You thrive in high-pressure ICU settings with critical care equipment
