Job description
As a Kitchen Sales Associate at Crate & Barrel, you guide customers in discovering pieces that transform their homes, driving sales and achieving SPH goals through your product knowledge, exceptional selling skills, and promotion of loyalty programs. You take pride in maintaining a beautifully presented salesfloor, ensuring signage, product care, and brand standards are upheld. Collaborating with your team, you support new teammate onboarding, foster a welcoming environment, and uphold company policies and safety best practices.
nA day in the life as a Kitchen Sales Associate...
nnnDrive kitchen sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise
n
nnGreet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to customer questions, process payments, and involve higher level management as appropriate
n
nnCommunicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers
n
nnPossess and demonstrate excellent service and company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork
n
nnLead by example and support store management in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence
n
nnPromote the brand by engaging customers in creative activities and demonstrations
n
nnAssist with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase
n
nnEngage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training
n
nnMaintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Guide
n
nnProcess all incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, buy online pickup in store, in a timely manner, as needed
n
nnAssist in preparing the stockroom for inventory and perform assigned inventory duties, as needed
n
nnPerform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom, as needed
n
nnExecute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.

n nWhat you'll bring to the table...
nnnExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other associates.
n
nnGeneral office equipment, including computer and printer, Point of Sale (POS) system, AS400 system, company email system, company learning management system, telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine, SKU and tagger guns, tape machine, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck/dolly, baler, calculator, electronic two-way radio with earpiece.

nnEngage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training.
