Key Responsibilities
Deliver individualized and couples therapy across various age groups and diverse backgrounds, addressing mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Schedule ongoing appointments and manage your calendar effectively, ensuring continuity of care for your clients.
Work collaboratively with the administrative team to facilitate billing processes, including claims submission, eligibility checks, and payment plans, streamlining your workflow.
Utilize evidence-based practices to assess client needs and tailor therapeutic interventions, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and couples seeking support for various mental health challenges. The diversity of client backgrounds and issues enriches the therapeutic experience, allowing for extensive interpersonal engagement and the opportunity to make significant improvements in the quality of life for individuals and families. By targeting treatment to meet the unique needs of each client, you will play a pivotal role in fostering positive outcomes.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
Current and valid LCSW licensure to practice independently in the State of Virginia.
Strong professionalism, cultural competency, self-motivation, and effective time-management skills.
Excellent boundaries and ethical standards while working in a therapeutic setting.
Availability to work full-time, including a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, with at least 2 evenings per week to accommodate client schedules.
Preferred Experience
Experience providing therapy to couples, including any specific training or certification in that area, is highly valued and will be considered favorably.
A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and training in therapeutic practices.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
